Christmas Launch - Wed 4th Dec @ 8pm
Our products go through the highest standard of quality control – the artist herself – but by the very nature of them being hand-made and the reaction of natural materials in the kiln there are occasional variances in colour and finish that cannot be controlled with every firing. We only sell the highest quality ceramics at full-price and those that don’t meet the artists expectations will be sold as seconds or discarded.
We want all our customers to be delighted with their chosen keepsakes. If your items have not met your expectations, please email us at hello@theceramicbutton.com (with photos) within 10 working days of your order being placed. We will do our best to find a resolution. Where your item shows minor variances in colour and finish when compared to the website photos, we will not be able to provide a refund or exchange as the items in each firing batch do sometimes vary from the original shown on the website.
Returns are only accepted if an item is considered faulty (this does not include minor imperfections). In these circumstances we will try and replace in the first instance. This is in line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, which applies to sales of goods or services to consumers without face-to-face contact.
Returns, refunds and exchanges cannot be accepted for any personalised items as it is highly unlikely that they can be re-sold.
Your chosen items will be posted by Royal Mail standard delivery (with Proof of Postage) with orders over £35.00 being sent as ‘Signed For’.
Regrettably, postage charges cannot be combined on multiple orders.
Each package will differ in cost due to the weight, size and number of items ordered, but for simplicity the charges on the website are applied automatically at checkout;
Shipping times are usually 2 – 4 working days, but have on occasions been known to take longer, especially after online launch events. Please bear in mind that everything is made and shipped by one person, therefore your patience is appreciated. Feel free to contact us if your order has not arrived within ten working days. We obtain proof of postage for each parcel and tracking numbers for those parcels containing a higher value of items.
On item listings it will state whether an item is ‘Ready to Post’ or give a predicted made to order timescale. Please bear this in mind when ordering. If an item is made to order it will take 2-4 weeks due to drying times, the glazing process and 2/3 kiln firings. There is no way of speeding up these stages unfortunately, working with clay requires a lot of time and patience!
At the present time we only ship within the UK.
